Hoffman: Human Lightning Bolt

It was a painstaking process converting Ryan Hoffman from fair-haired Storm back-rower to human lightning bolt, as pictured on today's weekend Sport cover.
With Billy Slater's artist girlfriend Nicole Rose waving her magic wand, Hoffman changed from red to blue to deep purple, before the couped grace, the brilliant flash of yellow.
"It was a long process." Hoffman said.
"Nicole And Petchy (Herald Sun Photographer Colleen Petch) did a great job. I couldn't believe the end result, it was strange looking in the mirror."
